As we reflect on the development of gifted education in Aotearoa New Zealand, Robyn Boswell’s contribution is evident in her long-standing commitment to supporting gifted learners, their families, and the educators who work with them.

Robyn Boswell was  closely involved with the New Zealand Association for Gifted Children (NZAGC), contributing to its work in advocacy, programme development, and community building. Through her involvement, she supported opportunities for gifted children to connect with like-minded peers and for families to access information, guidance, and support.

Her work included leadership and organisational roles that have helped sustain and grow programmes for gifted learners, including those designed to provide enrichment and extension opportunities outside of the regular classroom.
