My 4 year old currently goes to Small Poppies with Sue.
We are now in the process of looking for a primary school for him. We are in an area that officially doesn’t have a primary school zoned to it (!) and the local open role school may not be suitable (but we will check it out).
We are in the Greenlane area in Auckland and are open for him to attend a school within about a 15 min drive from us. Ideally we would like for him to attend a school that either has an accelerated programme or actively caters for and encourages those students who display advanced learning/potential in certain areas.
Does anyone have any thoughts about schools in the Onehunga, Greenlane, Royal Oak, Mt Eden, Epsom, Ellerslie, Remuera areas? Applying as an out-of-zone student does mean that we’re at the mercy of ballots but would love to know your thoughts.
