Internet-based systems for branches

NZAGC has several systems available to assist branches with administration. There is no fee for using these systems. They are internet-based, which means anyone can use them as long as they have access to the internet. A user needs to be a branch committee member and will be assigned a password to gain access.

Membership Management:
Each branch can enter and maintain all its members details. The membership details are based on the standard membership form. All details are easily entered and can be seen only by the branch to which the member belongs.

You can:

• Easily find members’ details by using different search criteria.
• Print mailing labels for branch newsletters.
• Print a name label for each member.
• Produce renewal forms for each financial year.
• Email all members with one email.
• Produce a membership summary report.
• Keep a history of members.
• Place financial members automatically on the Tall Poppies mailing list.

Library Management:
Each branch can manage its own library. This can consist of books, toys, videos and software.

You can:

• Record what items a member has taken out.
• Send email reminders to members when items are overdue.
• Produce an “items on loan” report.
• Produce reports on items in the library.

Financial Management:
All income and expenses can be recorded.

You can:

• Produce financial reports.
• A branch can establish its own headings to record transactions under.
• Produce ‘cash book’ report.
• Produce ‘financial status’ report.
• Produce ‘balance sheet’ report.

On-line meetings:
NZAGC holds many of its meetings on-line. This helps overcome the geographical challenged situation. This can be made available to branches. It is password protected. Once the meeting is completed all comments can be placed in a Word document to assist with writing the minutes.
