After 6 years our wonderful languages tutor is moving on. We are on the hunt for someone who can teach primary and intermediate-aged gifted children a foreign language as part of our one-day-a-week gifted programme. Obviously, this amazing person will need to be fluent in the language offered, have the ability to 'pass it on' to kids, have a good understanding of the characteristics and needs of gifted children, and have a good sense of humour. Our last tutor was a parent of gifted kids and this certainly helped her relate and work with the kids. While a trained teacher would be great, we can offer support in planning if necessary.
Choice of language is open. Classes in the past have done introductory French, Japanese or Italian.
