gluten, sugar or dairy - which to tackle first

We have a gifted 8 year old girl, who is loving, creative, sparkling, demanding, busy, stormy, often sweet, sometimes rude, always singing, moving and flinging herself about. She talks non-stop, can be extremely kind or extremely mean to her siblings and is prone to fits of complete fury (over perceived slights, too-tight socks, the unfairness of her life, the end of her alloted screen-time, a request to wear long sleeves in the dead of winter, being asked to tidy the humungous mess that seems to always follow her... etc etc etc ... after which she is often very contrite and apologises, saying she 'just felt overwhelmed'). She does well at school and is no problem in the classroom; she is generally popular and, overall, a lovely, happy person. At home she fills up the room in good and not so good ways, and ten minutes with her can be like a cycle in a spin-dryer. She does, however, go to sleep very well, though she is an early-riser.

I'm considering changing her diet to see if we can help calm her a little, I know I will meet resistance from her, so will just tackle one dietary evil at a time. She adores dairy and craves sugar. Getting her off her morning milo will be a mighty battle alone! Bread also features in our diet. My question is: which would you recommend we get rid of first? Gluten, Dairy or Colourings&Sugars? Which one is the greater evil?

Thanks
