ADHD, Autism, Bi-polar, Hyper Kids, Not getting enough sleep
Author: Angie Crossin

I have two very gifted boys, I had lot of problems getting them to settle down at night. My oldest who is 12 would stay in bed awake for hours sometimes even till 12midnight. I tried all sorts of stuff, like not giving him sweet stuff in the evening, sending him out to play in the afternoons so that he will get really tried etc. Recently we came across this juice which is a blend of beneficial fruits from around the world. I thought it would be good for my husband and I, we started taking it and we noticed we were sleeping well, not feeling tired in the morning and during the day plus heaps of other benefits in a short period of time. I decided to give it to my kids, now it takes my kids about 10 to 15 mins to go to sleep, they are much calmer and wake up by themselves not feeling tired. Other families with kids who have ADHD , Austim, Bi- Polar and other problems found heaps of benefits from taking this juice as well.

If anyone wants more information please feel free to contact me. My email address is crossins@xtra.co.nz

Forgive me if my scepticism is unwarranted, but this sounds suspiciously like one of the "advert-posts" which are the latest thing in marketing via message boards - perhaps should be placed in the "services" part of the forum with other advertisements?

You could be right Anon, however we are also a caring and supportive forum where individuals can share what works for them - be it medicinal, exercise or whatever. On another thread, we've had many disussing the benefits of the various Omega oil preps out there. If this could benefit the children discussed on the forum, it could be a very good thing. On the other hand, I agree if this is a 'marketing ploy' that 'services' would be the best place to advertise!

Thanks for your replies, well I read the forums at a regular basis but I never had much to offer. It seemed like whatever I wanted to post someone had already posted my thoughts so that's why I never made any inputs. Yesterday after my kids went to sleep, I was reading the forum and I thought maybe I should share it. I know what it's like to have gifted kids and have all the other problems as well. After seeing the benefits of this juice on my kids I just want to help as many families as I can.

Rebecca, what would be the best site to put some information about this product?

LOL.... it's not a black market stuff, I will put some information about the product on the "service" site later tonight. Dr Nicholas Perricone( featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show), Dr Ralph Carson they are all behind this juice.

Sorry Angie, didn't mean to sound rude or rejecting, but I had been reading some stuff about message boards being targeted by companies using "pretend identities" to push their products and I guess i jumped to a possibility (can u do that? ;-) ). Thanks for sharing something you found helpful - and do come again!

Monica, try feeding a ripe banana just on bed time. There is some type of property in the banana that helps with sleep, also another reason for restlessness is hunger. A banana at bedtime helps this as well.

Hi there - another avenue to try is Melatonin. It's prescription only and not subsidised which is a pity. Melatonin is what the body should produce (from Seratonin) and is a sleep chemical. There's a long thread on Melatonin on this site which is worth reading. There's fast release (to get to sleep) and slow release (to stay asleep). We've only used fast release but it was incredible. (LOL this isn't an ad!). We went from our child taking 3 hrs to get to sleep and not sleeping thru the night, and being so tired (not to mention tired parents). the first night on 1mg and asleep in 15 mins. by night 3 it was more like 10 mins. I just couldn't believe it. To check the placebo, I tried replacing it with a OTC magnesium low-dose (to the point of being almost nothing!) tablet for a few nights, saying it was a different 'brand', and bang, back to bad sleep. We'd done all the sensible stuff - routines, food, exercise etc etc to no effect. So after 9 years we all had a full night's sleep. Just a warning though - puberty does seem to change the sleep patterns again despite melatonin.
And btw seratonin is available OTC but is in a higher dose than you can get on prescription - and you have to check carefully to know it is seratonin you're buying and not a herbal sleep tablet (yes we tried them too!). Good luck.
Seems strange not to say what the juice is called - why the secrecy?
