 Bodies and the science of illnesses

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good site to teach about the body and illnesses? I need an easily understood resource with a scientific approach to teaching about viruses/bacterial infections and life threatening illnesses such as malignant tumours, strokes and heart attacks. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Vanessa,
I have written a series of monographs for my grandson and one of them is on Disease. I don't claim that it's marvellous as Grandson is only 9 but you might find it worthwhile. Reply to euclid6@ihug.co.nz if you are interested and I'll send it to you.
