That would be a question for them. They were called into our sons kindergarten and referred him to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service as they felt he had Aspergers.
We're now 7 years down the track with an exceptionally gifted boy who does have behavioural issues, but not Aspergers!
I'm not sure how much assistance SES were, but they were instrumental in setting us on the path to get assistance for our boy, and having a pre-school referral helped hugely when the school asked Group Special Education for assistance with him once he was at school.
A bit waffly I know, but I can't begin to condense 7 very full-on years concisely!
