I have a son who is only almost 4... Everyday care he has attended ( and there have been a few ) I have been told that he is an excaptional and gifted child. He has been through a few due to that fact that he has never been happy and sufford form boardem. Where he is at the moment he couldnt be a happier and i have noticed a massive improvement with him at home as well. I now have a concern about what is going to happen once he goes to school and where to send him to school. He has always been a child that needs to be stimulated and comes up with things i would never have dreamed. His memory is amazing ( remembering things from when he was only about 8 months old ) and i dont want him to lose any of that though going to a main stream school including his determination. Any ideas would be welcome.....

Talk to the schools now about how to ready him for the transition. If they fob you off probably best to look for a different school. One that listens to your concerns and values your role as the expert in your child would be ideal.
