Library Information

Explorers has a large collection of books, games, DVDs, CD-ROMs and puzzles for members to borrow on a clubday. There is also some science equipment available.

There is also a National library, held in Pukekohe, from which you can borrow (see NZAGC Library.)

BORROWING FROM THE LIBRARY

Generally you can borrow 1-2 items per family member, for 1 month, due on the clubday closest to that date.
  1. Write all requested details in the library lending book.
  2. Check items, games in particular, for damage or missing pieces and make a note of this in the loan book and inform the person on duty.
  3. Put all your returns into the box provided or give to the person on library duty.
  4. Rule off the returned items in the lending book.
  5. Any pieces missing or damaged not noted in the book will be charged.
Magazines and catalogues can be borrowed.

Late returns:
If you are unable to return your library items when they are due you can:
  • Ring the person taking the bookings and see if there are any people in your area going to that clubday.
  • Post them to PO Box 36-084, Northcote
  • or contact the librarian
