Auckland Explorers has lots going on in 2016 in style! Here’s what’s been going on and what’s on the way… Cards Before the iPad, before Youtube, everyone carried a deck of playing cards and knew how to use them. Card games are great in a group or by yourself. As well as being just plain fun, they stimulate motor, mathematic and mental skills, strategic and social skills, and more! We learned about the types of card games and covered basic card skills like shuffling, dealing, and organising your hand. And we got a couple of tables learning the popular strategy card game 500, as well as some great card games… (read more)

Auckland Explorers is rolling into 2016 in style! Here are our memories from 2015 and what’s on the way… Antarctic Adventure Beyond the Ice! Survival in the extreme – we heard about the work of one of our most experienced Antarctic rescue personnel and watched an eye-popping visual presentation.
